Our Junk for Your Junk
I've revised our Fire Sale page. The basics still remain the same (first come, first served; we'll accept any legitimate certs in exchange for our items;
certed gold is taken at full face value, while magic items are accepted at 1/2 face value), but we're instituting the following changes:
- Each item now lists the cert's listed value (xxxx), as well as the value we are asking for in exchange (yyyy) in the format (xxxx/yyyy). Note that the
exchange value is in certed or log sheet value; remember that certs are given half their normal value. This change permits us to list several items that
would not have been otherwise listed on this page.
- Log sheet gold can now be accepted in exchange for items listed here. To trade log sheet gold, you must do the following: send us your 2 most recent
log sheets (with a minimum of 10 entries total). We will have a neutral judge sign both your log and ours. We will then photocopy both logs, keeping copies
of yours for our records, and including a copy of ours with the cert(s) we send. Any large, unexplained gains in gold recorded on a log will be treated as
false and returned to you as an imcomplete trade.
- Special Item auctions will now be held through a guestbook-style system. Bids will be posted instantly, allowing everyone to follow the progress of
the auction.

Update: Much of the gear on the Fire Sale page was cleaned out at Origins, but the good news is that I've decided to keep the page up indefinitely as part
of the Halls site. Also, there will be special item auctions at the bottom of this page from time to time; watch for them!
