Renaissance Faires

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, my original "home faire".
The Texas Renaissance Festival, my "home faire" since moving to the Houston area.
The Scarborough Faire, just outside of Dallas, TX. I try make a yearly pilgrimage for a weekend to meet and enjoy the festival with friends.

Clothing

A Wardrobe in Time, run by friends (Kyle and MaritaBeth Carruthers) and producers of fine historical *clothing*. ;)
Pendragon Costumes, makers of the finest leather doublets I've ever seen or worn. Once you've owned one, you'll understand.
Son of Sandlar, from whom I pruchased a pair of fabulous knee-high boots several seasons back. They look sharp, and they are very comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time.
And of course, what gents' costume would be complete without a pair of Ginger's tights from The Faire Pair Tights and Such?
A cold, rainy closing weekend at the TRF prompted the purchase of a fine wool lined cloak from Merlyn Custom Costumers. It's dashing even when you're not in full garb...
Also check out Chivalry Sports Renaissance Store for lots of "stock" costume pieces available at good prices and in a timely manner.
